Bahamas Strong Pro-Am
It all began with an idea.
A day of golf can change thousands of lives.
Justin Leonard, 12 time PGA TOUR winner, wanted to help with the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian. A member at Bakers Bay, Leonard frequents the Bahamas.
Seeing what devastation occurred, he recognized the urgent need for help and contacted friends Seth Waugh and Brad Faxon and the Bahamas Strong Pro-Am was born. The need for help is obvious. Through golf, we want to come together so we can assist in the immediate disaster relief needs of Bahamian citizens.
Our mission is “to raise funds to help provide assistance to those displaced -- with focus on the core safety of the people and their essential needs in providing shelter, everyday necessities, medical needs and employment assistance.”
